As we head into the holiday season, we’d like to take a moment to express our most sincere gratitude for each and every one of you. This book community has become a thriving space where we can all share our passion for these stories, connect over how they relate to our own lives, use our creative problem-solving to speculate what’s next, and, most importantly, find joy, laughter, and inclusion when we need it most.
We are truly humbled and honored that you choose to bring Fantasy Fangirls into your life. Thank you for including us in your days as you listen to episodes, thank you for joining us at events to celebrate in person together, thank you for supporting us and our families, thank you for every single kind message and spreading the love with your fellow book friends. We’re Stuffed With Gratitude!
LEXI….Grateful for in family life: How much my toddlers are talking these days – they’re hilarious and there is so much laughter and silliness in our home (amid the chaos). It’s wonderful for Jake and I to hug and be like “this is our life, this is our family.” Grateful for with Fantasy Fangirls: I feel like I’ve found myself since reading fantasy as an adult, and FFG especially has been living the dream I didn’t know I had. All the hard work feels like it pays off and I feel like I’m glowing all the time as we connect with this incredible community and raise each other up. Favorite Thanksgiving dish: I’m obsessed with the sausage stuffed mushrooms that I make every year as an appetizer – it’s hard not to get full off those alone! Looking forward to this holiday season: The wonder in my kids’ eyes as they look at all the colorful lights and experience the magic of the holidays. We’re going to the Christmas Lights Drive-Thru at Red Rocks next weekend and ahhh, I can’t wait! | NICOLE….Grateful for in family life: I have no way of putting into words how grateful I am for Brett in this phase of life right now. Not only is he, along with Jake, our biggest cheerleaders, but he is my safe space, my constant source of entertainment, and my rock against which the surf crashes. ❤️ Grateful for with Fantasy Fangirls: I keep having moments that hit me like a tidal wave just how this community has grown in only a year. It is so surreal, each and every one of you being here and listening – I have no words what each of you means to Lexi and me. You have changed our lives and brought us a dream we never knew we had. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Favorite Thanksgiving dish: Green Bean Casserole but closely followed by caramelized onion + garlic parmesan mashed potatoes. Looking forward to this holiday season: Sitting by the fire, with the tree on and reading (and the final episode of the Great British Bake Off – the heat is ON!!) |
