Happy Halloween, friends! 🎃 We hope you have a wonderful Halloween – whether that looks like cozying up with a scary movie or an intriguing book, trick or treating with your family, oooohing and aaaahing over kids’ costumes when they knock on your door, or getting dressed up and going out on the town! As for our plans, we’ll be at Lexi’s house in our dragon onesies, trick or treating with Lexi’s toddlers, hanging around the firepit in the driveway because YES it is worth dragging it around the house for front row seats of the neighborhood fun, eating pumpkin shaped pizza, and seeing how many people comment on Nicole’s Onyx Storm pumpkin carving.

This past month marked a special milestone for Fantasy Fangirls with our first standalone live show! 380 of you showed up to our SOLD OUT show in Denver, CO and we need to take a moment to gush. The outpouring of support from this community around the world meant everything – even if you couldn’t be there, we felt your well wishes and appreciate you so much. And wow, the audience absolutely blew us away… you all were incredible beyond our wildest dreams. From joining in the intro (CHILLS!), to lots of laughter, shouting “Bet!” when we disagreed, engaging in all the fun… you truly made this a core memory and represented all that FFG is. We loved getting to meet some of you at the VIP Meet and Greet – it was so special to hear your stories, theories, learn where you traveled from, and receive the friendship bracelets you worked so hard on. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of this community.

And yes, we are releasing the live show recording for everyone next week!

Reading: House of Flame and Shadow for our Silver Flames deep dive (IYKYK)

Theorizing: I am so far down the Dread Trove, Daglan, and Starborn rabbit hole, and what it all might mean for what’s next in ACOTAR.

Listening to: Quicksilver audiobook that came out this week! (Yes, it’s technically another book I’m reading… but I’m too excited about it and it is, indeed, what I’m listening to.)

Watching: Great British Baking Show! New episode drops every Friday and it’s the best treat after a big recording day.

Looking forward to: A cabin mountain getaway with Jake in a few weeks. It’ll be our first little trip just the two of us in over 4 years and I can’t wait!

NICOLE Currently….

Reading: Broken by Daylight (Beast of the Briar Book 4), I have about 40 pages left and I don’t want it to end!

Theorizing: Lightsinger theories (coming in Ep 5) have taken a hold of me… the way I am so feral for ACOTAR 6 is unhealthy. I. Need. Answers!

Listening to: The Quicksilver audiobook and after two reads of the ebook, I am thrilled to finally have the audiobook available!

Watching: Much like Lexi, Great British Baking Show is my post-recording unwinding show! Plus I LOVE this year’s set of bakers!

Looking forward to: I’m going to Texas for a friend’s wedding in a week! I cannot wait to see my friends, family and celebrate!
