Fantasy Fangirls turns 1 this week!

Wow, can you believe it?! It’s simultaneously been the quickest whirlwind of a year *and* it feels like FFG has been around so much longer. This one-year milestone is incredibly special and we are so excited to celebrate with you all week!

A year ago, we two sisters read ACOTAR and Fourth Wing for the first time and were immediately pulled into these worlds. Reading for fun as adults fundamentally changed us and filled our cups in ways we couldn’t previously fathom. We came up with the idea to start a deep dive podcast that we wished we had to listen to after reading these books, and never in a million years imagined it would change our lives (and so many of yours!) the way it instantly did.

On September 10, 2023, we published our very first deep dive episode — and thanks to TikTok, FFG went viral again and again in the early days. Our goal was 20 downloads in our first week… and we smashed it with more than 5,000. We’ll never forget that week of running around and screaming “OH MY GOD!” at the surreal positive reception this community gave Fantasy Fangirls right out of the gate. It’s honestly crazy to look back on this year and comprehend how far we’ve come, how much this community has grown, and how this podcast has genuinely changed our lives, our family’s lives, and your lives, too.

To this day, we are still so humbled by your love for this podcast from the get-go, for your belief in us when we were figuring out our stride, for your dealing with Lexi’s bad audio in the beginning (lol), for your enthusiasm over these deep dives, and for your excitement to share with every other reader you know.

Fantasy Fangirls is what is it today BECAUSE OF YOU and we are eternally grateful.

Whether you’ve been listening to FFG since Day 1 or just joined the party, we are so grateful you are part of this community. Thank you for choosing to bring us into your lives. Thank you for being on this wild ride along with us.
